Place Matters - Theory of Place and Systems Change Framework
What is this framework?

Our 'Theory of Place' framework has been adapted from the 'theory of change' frameworks, to demonstrate the complex and emergent nature of place-based, systems change work.

It includes key elements of place-based work and how it connects to systems change, both at place level and at regional, national levels.

How would this framework be used?

A useful framework for place-based collaborations to discuss and align on what changes and outcomes they are looking to achieve, as well as the key levers of change to influence these, including community power, collaborative leadership and an effective backbone.
